Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
This page explains exactly what cookies WellsWorkforce sets and why, organized the same way the preferences panel is: Strictly Necessary, Preferences, and Analytics. We don't use advertising cookies or share data with third parties.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small pieces of data a website stores in your browser. Some are strictly necessary for a site to work at all. Others are optional — used to remember your preferences, or to understand how a site is used. WellsWorkforce uses both of the first two kinds, and none of the third (advertising/cross-site tracking).
2. Strictly Necessary
Always active — there's no way to use any logged-in feature of the Platform without the session cookie, and the consent-record cookie is what lets this whole preference system remember your choices in the first place.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-<project-ref>-auth-token | Supabase Authentication | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages | Session end / sign out |
wellsworkforce-last-active | WellsWorkforce | Time of your last activity while signed in, so you're signed out after 60 minutes of inactivity | 12 hours, or when you sign out |
wellsworkforce-consent | WellsWorkforce | Remembers your cookie preference choices | 1 year |
3. Preferences
Optional. Reserved for personalization/display settings — the cookie and the toggle to control it both exist and work, but there's nothing on the site today that actually stores anything here. Turning this category on or off has no visible effect right now; this page will be updated the first time that changes.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
wellsworkforce-preferences | WellsWorkforce | Reserved for future display/personalization settings, empty today | 1 year, or until you decline this category |
4. Analytics
Optional. Counts page views and session length, entirely within your own browser — a session id, how many pages you've viewed, and the last page you visited. This is self-contained: nothing in this category is transmitted to WellsWorkforce's servers or to any third-party analytics provider. There is no external analytics service connected to this site.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
wellsworkforce-analytics | WellsWorkforce | Session id, page-view count, last page visited | 4 hours |
5. What We Don't Use
WellsWorkforce does not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics or tracking cookies, or cross-site tracking of any kind. Every cookie above is first-party (set by WellsWorkforce itself, not a third-party service), and Preferences/Analytics are both off by default until you actively turn them on.
6. Managing Cookies
You can review and change your cookie preferences at any time — use the button at the top of this page, or “Cookie Settings” in the footer of any page on the site. Preferences and Analytics can be turned on or off individually and take effect immediately; turning either off clears what's already been stored for it. Strictly Necessary cookies can't be disabled here, since the Platform can't function without them, but you can always control or delete cookies directly through your browser's settings.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if what the site actually does changes. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
