Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 25, 2026

WellsWorkforce (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Platform”) operates a marketplace connecting companies, researchers, and organizations (“Clients”) with vetted independent contributors (“Contributors”) for paid research participation, AI training data work, translation, transcription, and related services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

From Contributors: Full name, email address, phone number, location (city and country), resume/CV file, LinkedIn profile URL, skills and professional track, availability, years of experience, education level, payout method preference, and records of tasks completed and earnings.

From Clients: Full name, email address, organization name, and details of studies or projects posted, including budget and participant criteria.

Automatically collected: Basic account activity such as login timestamps and platform usage, used solely to operate and secure the platform.

We do not collect government identification numbers, financial account numbers, or payment card details directly — any future real-money payment processing will be handled through a third-party payment processor subject to its own privacy and security standards.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to: verify and vet Contributor applications; match Contributors to relevant paid opportunities based on their profile and a Client's stated criteria; facilitate communication between the Platform, Clients, and Contributors; process and track earnings; maintain the security and integrity of the Platform; and communicate important account or platform updates via email.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as necessary to operate the Platform:

  • With Clients, we share limited Contributor information (such as name and relevant qualifications) solely for the purpose of a specific study or project a Contributor has applied to or been matched with.
  • With service providers who help us operate the Platform (such as our email delivery and hosting providers), solely to the extent necessary for them to perform those services.
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of WellsWorkforce, our users, or the public.

4. Data Storage and Security

Contributor and Client data is stored using industry-standard database and file storage infrastructure with access controls limiting who can view sensitive information (such as resumes) to authorized platform administrators only. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Choices and Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at wellsworkforce@outlook.com. You may update most of your profile information directly through your account dashboard at any time.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

7. Children's Privacy

WellsWorkforce is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect information from, individuals under the age of 18.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
